Stephanie Halovanić
DIRECTOR

Stephanie is a film, theater and commercial director based in New York City, originally from Texas. She specializes in comedy, color and strong female characters. Stephanie works as a writer/director in-house at Pinterest, and has created award-winning work with Broad City’s Ilana Glazer and SNL’s Heidi Gardner. Her debut absurdist comedy But Humble Sinners premiered at Austin Film Festival & she made her theatrical debut at The New York Theater Festival with the new play Eric & Denise.
Mika Hawley
CINEMATOGRAPHER

Mika is a cinematographer with 7 years of experience in the film industry in NY. She’s worked on various features (Shiva Baby, Stay Awake, The Adults), shorts (Thirsty Girl), commercials, and tv shows (Couples Therapy/Paramount +). Her projects have screened at Sundance, SXSW, Tribeca and other festivals worldwide. When shooting, she enjoys seeking out the details that make a project unique and facilitating the translation from paper to screen.
Canning Robb
PRODUCER

Canning is a producer, writer, and actor based in New York City. She has produced multiple shorts and music videos, including her own short I Wanna Be, as well as social media content. Her work has been featured at Chelsea Film Festival, Big Apple Film Festival, and Oxford Shorts, and won Honorable Mention at New Faces New Voices. Rose is a writer, director and producer who presently works as a Production Coordinator at Saturday Night Live. She produces live comedy shows throughout NYC, made her directorial debut with her film "Severe Street" and has produced multiple Independent film projects.

Worthy Dye is a stylist and costume designer based in New York City. Currently the head of styling for global fashion brand Alexander Wang, Worthy specializes in creating ensemble looks of strong women and unconventional men for both narrative inspiration and commercial applications.

Karen DeMaio Weber is Brooklyn-based art director and production designer specializing in stylized, short-form content for commercial, narrative, fashion, and music projects. She’s served the creative needs of notable clients such as Spotify, Vogue, Bon Appetit, and Billboard. She was the production designer for narrative short “Prelude” which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in 2021. By oscillating between commercial and experimental work, she merges multiple approaches to storytelling and world building to create a unique, effective visual language.

Sam is a multi-hyphenate artist, specializing in fabrication and set builds for film, television and advertising. He's worked for brands such as Bloomingdale's, Madame Tussaud's and Macy's. He has his own painting practice, writes plays and directs films. "Jack of all trades, master of none though oftentimes better than a master of one."

Bones was raised on Cape Cod in Brewster, Massachusetts. His art is about the mortal coil and about levity and hope. He is motivated by spirituality and wants to make honest, beautiful images of what it is like to be alive. He lives in Bedford-Stuyvesant right now.

April is a NYC based photographer who has worked on a variety of sets ranging from fashion campaigns to one-on-one portrait sessions to film and tv gallery and behind-the-scenes. Ashtyn is a NYC/NJ based MUA whose experience expands broadly over campaigns, ecomm, sfx, tv/film, and body painting. She studied at the Make Up For Ever Academy in NYC and has been an active artist in the Industry since 2018. When she isn't on set, she is taking care of her two toy poodles, Merlin and Freya, and her bird Gimli.

Livy is a music supervisor, and the founder of Dreamboat Music. Livy's films have premiered at notable film festivals such as Cannes, Tribeca, and the Austin Film Festival, and have also been distributed to theaters, as well as, popular streamers like Disney+, Apple TV, Max, Paramount+ and Amazon Prime. Her latest feature, Jim Henson Idea Man directed by Ron Howard, was nominated for 8 Emmys winning 5, and earned her a nomination for Hollywood’s Music in Media Awards.

Formed out of angst for the patriarchy and love for poetry, Candy Pill is a music producer in NYC who experiments with technologies and new ways of making music. Combining traditional methods of music production with new to ideate and express deep feelings or social commentary. As Audrey Lorde wrote “If I didn't define myself for myself, I would be crunched into other people's fantasies for me and eaten alive.”

Computer programmer turned financial wizard, Carol has navigated the labyrinth of algorithms, spreadsheets, investment analysis, and managing stock portfolios with the finesse of an artist. A lifelong student of AI - a subject she’s both studied and taught - she brings her love for the unconventional to every project. Along the way, she’s won awards as a professor in finance, accounting, and computers, inspiring students both online and in person with her magical ability to transform the difficult into the understandable, the mundane into the exciting.

Erica is an actor, writer and producer based in NY. She most recently was in Nicole Holofcener's You Hurt My Feelings (A24) and will be seen in the upcoming film, Floating Carousel by Delilah Napier and Lucy Powers. She produced Alice Wu's The Half Of It (Netflix) and her script, Cruel Summer, was featured on the 2021 Black List.

Mel (they/she) is a NYC based Intimacy Coordinator whose experience spans from short films, to tv pilots and music videos. They have studied with Theatrical Intimacy Education's (T.I.E.) Laura Rikard and Open Intimacy Creative's Chelsea Pace. They have an extensive background in theatre and film with a degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a B.F.A. in Acting. They have a passion for queer and femme lead stories!

Spencer Emanuel
SOUND

Spencer does all things Sound & Music for film. A composer by training, he has written scores for 50+ shorts, features, and commercials since 2005. He delved into the wide world of sound design & editing in 2018, working on an educational platform put out by MD Anderson Houston to teach teens about the harmful effects of tobacco and vaping. But that still left him with nothing to do on a set, so naturally, he picked up a boom pole and learned how to run Location Sound. He has been an active Sound Mixer since 2020, working on several projects from NYC to Boston and everywhere in between, including Jimmy and Carolyn (Amazon) and The Woodsman (Chattanooga Film Festival). Most recently, Spencer was the Sound Mixer on a PoC short, Farther Along.
